Upcycled Valentine Decor

It is 2021 and my mind has been in over drive with ideas for rekindling my desire to share creative ideas both new and repourposed or upcycled as some refer to it. With so many quarantined or limited to where they can get suppies and the benefits from keeping your mind active, being creative with resources you have at your disposal is a clever and cost effective solution.
Ultimately my hope is to offer fun and unique creative ideas that will inspire others to see beauty, art or function in something they might not have before.
With Valentines Day around the corner and a pile of cardboard boxes from the Christmas I knew I could get busy making decorations and share a handy DIY as well.
Supplies you will need to make this Valentine decoration are:
Double wall cardboard (pizza, packing box)
Industrial scissors
Pencil
Heart template
Optional:
Paint
Glitter
Twine

Trace your heart template onto the cardboard and taking your time, cut out the heart. Once you have as many as you want the next step is a bit tricky.
Carefully, as if peeling a sticker remove the paper on one side of the heart. You want to take it loose from the wavy middle section of the cardboard.
Now paint, glue glitter, grunge or leave them plain. They are perfect as accent pieces, on a boarder, or add a twine hanger to adorn a tree.
I hope you will give this a try and find more creative ideas.
